Weston Family Fun Ride and Bike Rodeo - FREE

Sunday, April 7^th 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at weston regional park

Open Family Fun Ride: 1:00 pm-3:00 pmCalling children and parents/guardians of all ages with a bike... join us at the Weston Family Fun Ride! There will be 1-, 2- and 3- mile loop options for riders (children under 18 must have helmet). The event will begin in the Weston Regional Park and the surrounding roads will be closed to provide a safe, fun recreational riding experience. This is a perfect opportunity for children to get used to roadway biking.

Family Fun Ride Location: South Post Road (which will be closed from 11am-5pm) from the Weston Regional Park roundabout, south to Swan Lake Boulevard.

Bike Rodeo: 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm For those just learning to bike or those needing to learn biking skills and safety rules, join us at the Bike Rodeo! The Broward Sheriff’s Office will be conducting the rodeo which is a clinic to teach the children the importance of riding safely and what skills and precautions they need to develop to have a fun and safe time on their bikes.

The rodeo will take place at the basketball courts located inside the Weston Regional Park. Certified instructors from The League of American Bicyclists will be on hand to answer safety questions and provide bicycle information.

The Rodeo will include sections for all ages (toddlers – 12 years old) and all skill levels:

1) Tricycles and big wheel section
2) Training wheels
3) 2-wheel section ages 5-8
4) 2-wheel section ages 9-12

Additional Family Fun: Don’t miss the additional activities at this family fun day which include: great music, bounce houses, bike safety information and booths, give-aways, and concession food available for purchase.
