Free Event for Kids, "Music for Munckins" at Nova Southeastern University, Saturday, November 10, 2012

FREE to the public, "Music for Munchkins" are 30-minute concerts, followed by a reception with juice and Munchkin donut holes.

 

As Director of Education with Ars Flores Symphony Orchestra, Dr. Kathy Kerstetter creates musical activities for the Music for Munchkins concerts and coordinates with college music majors to create lessons for BECON distance learning classes, offered throughout Broward County elementary schools. 

 

These lessons teach children basic concepts of music, instruments and composers, in preparation for the free Music for Munchkins concerts, held on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL
