Khushbu is a very talented and professional henna artist who has been
practicing the art of henna for the past 8 years. She offers a beautiful,
exotic, temporary body art in the traditions of India, Morocco, North Africa,
and the Middle East with the twist of contemporary design.
She is a well-known
talented Henna/ Mehndi Artist in Fort Lauderdale. Khushbu achieved a Masters
degree in Biotechnology and Pharmacology from the Sheffield Hallam University,
United Kingdom and moved back to States after her wedding where she lives with
her husband.

Henna Demonstration Program Outline
* Khushbu will discuss the origins
of henna and its historical uses in culture and religion. She will talk about
current emerging trends and traditions of henna in the West.
* Safety
Issues: The dangers of using “black henna”. Learn the differences between
natural henna and chemically altered henna paste.
* Henna Applicators: A
live demonstration and interactive lesson on how to roll your own henna cone,
and how to fill it with henna paste.
* Recipes and Mixing: A live
demonstration of how to mix henna.
* Elements of Design: A breakdown of
different elements in traditional henna design, focusing on design symbolism,
and styles of different regions.
* Henna Demonstration: A volunteer will
receive a sample design to give others a chance to observe the technique of
henna application.
* Henna Craft Demonstration: One Henna decorative
piece demonstration. Ideas for decorative piece to make.
