City-Wide Market: A FLEAesta! December 3, 2011
10A - 4P
Emma Lou Olson Civic Center
1801 NE 6th Street
Pompano Beach, FL

On Saturday December 3rd, City-Wide Market, an all new community flea market event, will come to life! Held at Emma Lou Olson Civic Center (1801 NE 6th Street), this market will include tons of locals selling their gently used second hand goods, vintage and retro items, collectibles and locally made products!

City-Wide Market will have free admission and free parking. The first 100 guests will receive free swag bags filled with goodies provided by local businesses, artists and crafters and the organizers of City-Wide Market!

From 10 AM - 4 PM, guests will scour the table tops for great finds and great deals. Such treasures will include things like vintage luggage, vintage Pyrex and other kitchen goods, old records, good condition second hand and vintage clothing and accessories, digital media and electronics, bric-a-brac, housewares, Christmas decor, handmade products and crafts and much, much more.

In addition to shopping for goods, attendees can enjoy the concession counter for breakfast in the morning, lunch in the afternoon, and sweets on the spot. Guests can also beautify themselves with fun vendor services like feather hair extensions, face painting and more. Alongside these activities, shopping and lunch, there will be music and raffle prizes!

City-Wide Market was created by Chris Gaidry and Amanda Weiner, organizers of Fort Lauderdales original indie fair, Indie Craft Bazaar. With Gaidrys’ history of family owned thrift shops, a combined love of vintage items, a desire to promote buying local, and a need for an outlet to shed perfectly usable goods in a productive manner, Chris and Amanda created City-Wide Market in hopes to promote re-use, community support and locally made and purchased goods. By attending this event, people are recycling funds back into our local economy, helping to reduce waste and supporting fellow neighbors.
